Higher education teams often evaluate platforms through the everyday experiences of the people who use them. Admissions, academic, operations, and IT teams may approach the same system from different perspectives, including workflow management, student communications, reporting, integrations, and administrative control.
The customer accounts collected below describe how Full Fabric is used across these areas. They reflect users’ own observations about implementation, support, automation, flexibility, collaboration, and the management of student-facing processes.
Full Fabric is a platform used by higher education institutions to manage parts of the student lifecycle. Its capabilities can support enquiries, applications, admissions, enrolment, programme management, communications, student records, alumni engagement, and related operational workflows.
For teams working across multiple processes, a shared platform can provide a central place to manage information, coordinate activity, and follow an applicant or student’s progress. The reviews in this article describe how users have applied Full Fabric within their own institutional contexts.
The reviews below focus on practical experiences from users working in education. Several describe centralising admissions and student journey processes, reducing manual work, improving collaboration, and giving teams more autonomy over forms, workflows, settings, and communications.
Support is another recurring subject, alongside the platform’s evolving functionality and the role of training in helping teams make use of a broad set of features. The following feedback is presented in a varied order and uses the reviewers’ own wording.

What do you like best about Full Fabric?
We have been using this software in education for many years and are very satisfied with it. It supports our entire student journey—from application and admission through enrolment and programme management, all the way to graduation and alumni relations.
The platform offers all the functionality we need in one integrated system, making our processes more efficient and easier to manage. We are also very happy with the excellent support: the team is responsive, knowledgeable and always willing to help.
What do you dislike about Full Fabric?
Because the software covers so many processes and offers extensive functionality, it can initially feel complex for new users. Some training and time are needed to become familiar with all the features.
What problems is Full Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you?
FULL FABRIC helps us manage the entire student journey in one integrated platform—from initial enquiries and applications to enrolment, programme management, graduation and alumni engagement. It reduces the need for separate systems, avoids duplication of work and gives us a clear overview of each student’s progress.
This saves our team time and helps us communicate more effectively with candidates, students and alumni. Having reliable data in one central place also supports better reporting and more informed decision-making.

What do you like best about Full Fabric?
FullFabric has significantly streamlined our processes. Tracking each student's status and collaborating with colleagues is straightforward, as everyone can access the same information. This shared access helps minimize misunderstandings and speeds up our response times. One of the biggest advantages is the autonomy it offers, allowing us to implement new features or components independently, without having to rely on others.
What do you dislike about Full Fabric?
Sometimes it can take a while to locate certain settings or information, but after you become accustomed to it, the experience improves considerably.
What problems is Full Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you?
FullFabric solves the issue of relying too much on external teams to manage or adjust processes. The platform gives us much more autonomy to implement features ourselves, such as updating forms, adapting workflows, modifying communications, or adjusting settings without needing technical support. This independence speeds up our work and allows us to respond quickly to operational needs.

What do you like best about Full Fabric?
Really good support—nice people who provide solid help in a short time.
The UI mostly works great, but it can be a bit slow sometimes. Overall, it’s intuitive to use. They’re still changing and updating a lot, so every now and then you have to relearn a few things, but the new stuff is easier to use, so it’s fine.
Onboarding was great, and they still help me with every “stupid” question I have. The new support AI also gives helpful answers.
What do you dislike about Full Fabric?
Sometimes the platform can be a bit slow, or changes get rolled out that end up breaking things. That said, when I contact support about those changes, they respond really quickly and get it fixed as fast as possible.
What can be frustrating, though, is having to relearn how things work after an update, or not knowing ahead of time how much an update will affect us. There was one feature change in particular where I really would have appreciated being informed directly about it, instead of only finding out later when something didn’t work.
What problems is Full Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use FullFabric for applications to university courses that are shared between several universities. It gives us one central tool that everyone can use, instead of having course applications scattered across different universities where no one can easily find them.
At first we didn’t have any tool in place. Then we tried FullFabric, and it works well for what we need.

What do you like best about Full Fabric?
What I like most about Full Fabric is how incredibly responsive the support team is, along with their clear expertise. Beyond that, Full Fabric simply gets the job done and delivers what I need. Full Fabric has an extensive API that allows to integrate basically every other tool that you require. The UI for the students is easy to use. The backend side requires a bit of training for the team as it is really powerful. With power comes complexity. But there's a good AI help available, and whenever your stuck, the support team is there.
What do you dislike about Full Fabric?
The backend's UI could be more intuitive, but they're currently working on a new approach to streamline the whole thing.
What problems is Full Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you?
Full Fabric handles all of our student registration and campus management processes. We are an online university and wouldn't be able to operate smoothly without such a tool.
⭐⭐⭐⭐½
What do you like best about Full Fabric?
They have excellent customer support—absolutely amazing people who are always quick to respond.
What do you dislike about Full Fabric?
I don’t really dislike anything. Sometimes the server statistics need to be increased to maintain speed, and those issues are regularly attended to. They also actively propose developments. That said, one of my most-wanted updates still hasn’t been implemented, even though it’s been a couple of years.
What problems is Full Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you?
FF is really efficient and saves us a lot of time. Even though we haven’t fully utilised it yet, we wouldn’t want to work without it.

What do you like best about Full Fabric?
What I like most about Full Fabric is that it brings the entire student recruitment and admissions journey into a single platform. It helps manage enquiries, applications, offers, and communications efficiently, while providing clear visibility across the entire admissions funnel. The platform is flexible, easy to customise, and continues to evolve with features that support the needs of higher education institutions.
What do you dislike about Full Fabric?
While Full Fabric covers most admissions and CRM requirements very well, there is still room for improvement in integrations with messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and other communication channels. Additional native integrations and automation options would help institutions create even more connected and efficient applicant communication workflows. That said, the team is highly receptive to feedback and continuously works to enhance the platform.
What problems is Full Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you?
Full Fabric helps us centralise and streamline our admissions processes, reducing manual administrative work and improving collaboration across teams. It provides a structured workflow for managing applicants, tracking progress, and communicating with prospective students. This has improved operational efficiency, enhanced the applicant experience, and given us better insights into recruitment performance.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What do you like best about Full Fabric?
No software is perfect, but FullFabric does a very good job and keeps evolving. The team is dedicated and quick to help, and they work with you to find solutions to any challenges that come up. It was always a pleasure to work with FullFabric!
What do you dislike about Full Fabric?
Some settings and features are a bit scattered in the backend. But they are aware of this and I'm sure this will evolve in a more consolidated solution.
What problems is Full Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you?
FullFabric provides the flexibility we need in our application process. Because this process needs to be fine-tuned as we go, that flexibility is essential.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What do you like best about Full Fabric?
The solution is precisely tailored to the business school context, and the team therefore knows very well what solutions we need. The implementation went smoothly, and the platform is continuously being developed based on customer feedback. Overall, we feel very well taken care of.
What do you dislike about Full Fabric?
A few features are not always 100% customizable. However, the Full Fabric team always helps to look for workarounds and provides feedback to the development team so that some functions can be adjusted in the short, medium, or long term as needed.
What problems is Full Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Full Fabric, our processes were about 80% manual and highly fragmented. The tool takes over almost all of our previous manual processes and ensures significantly more automation. As a result, only a few steps need to be done manually, and we can really focus on conversations with prospective students instead of mainly handling administrative tasks. Additionally, it enables a much more professional external appearance through the introduction of a comprehensive, genuine applicant portal, which we did not have before.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What do you like best about Full Fabric?
What I like best about Full Fabric is the autonomy it gives me and my team. We can manage processes, track progress, and make decisions independently without constantly needing external support
What do you dislike about Full Fabric?
The only challenge I’ve encountered is that it requires a bit of technical skill to set up and customize certain features. Once you get familiar with it, though, it becomes much easier to manage
What problems is Full Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you?
Full Fabric solves the challenge of managing multiple admissions and recruitment processes in one place. It helps us keep applications, communications, and workflows organized, which saves time and reduces errors. For our team, this means we can focus more on meaningful interactions with candidates, and for candidates, the process feels smoother and more professional

What do you like best about Full Fabric?
The Full Fabric team is fantastic: responsive, helpful, flexible. They've grown with our organization over the last 4 years and as they've supported our growth, they've responded to our feedback and requests. I think the best part of Full Fabric as a technology partner is the team and the organization itself. Excellent partners.
What do you dislike about Full Fabric?
We adopted the platform early in our growth trajectory, when we had a much smaller audience. The platform isn't perfectly suited to our current model, with an audience of hundreds of thousands of applicants and alumni. Large imports, exports, and campaigns (in the scale of 10s of thousands to 100s of thousands of records) run into delays and errors. However, we seem to be unique in our needs and use case compared to other FF customers.
Additionally a few modules are limited in their features, like custom reporting and B2B partnership management. These again seem to be edge cases for most FF customers but have been friction points for us.
What problems is Full Fabric solving and how is that benefiting you?
Full Fabric has helped us manage applications, email campaigns, and student journey tracking.
Taken together, these customer experiences describe Full Fabric as a platform used across admissions, academic administration, and technical operations to bring student-related processes into a more connected environment. The feedback highlights practical outcomes such as centralised information, reduced manual work, flexible workflows, responsive support, and clearer visibility throughout the student journey.
